Lady Beetle and Aphids

on a Rose Bush

Eating aphids is dirty work. Her schedule
went something like: [1] catch aphid: 0.5 seconds;
[2] eat aphid: 10 seconds; [3] cleanup: 60 seconds.

Hi Peter, Wow! Lots going on here! Came across your name the other day on Bugguide.net. We've been trying to learn insects and finding it pretty daunting. Did some research about how ladybigs were imported to eat aphids, which this pic show perfectly. Regards, Sandy&Lloyd
