This rare botanical gem! I was excited to see and photograph this species
for the first time. Skip spotted the orchids amongst the tall grass. I still
can't figure out how he saw them.

Occurs: Coastal plain
Habitat: wet savannas
A rare Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic.
