Early Sunday Morning

Since we switched back from daylight savings time I keep waking up "too early" and this morning I decided to go out and shoot some images. An early stop (7:15 AM) was the bridge from the other side of the river (east side) from previous shots. It now looks like a "mini" swing bridge as they have removed substantial structures from the sides. If they keep up this pace this will be gone really soon!

Great shot. It's a beautiful bridge - sad to see it go. V

Color is lovely here, Patti, and composition excellent. I find it such a fascinating bridge, I'm sorry to see it's being dismantled.

Patti, Your fine record of this bridge demolition would surely be of interest to your local Historical Society.

Before I retired I was an early riser, now I get up when I'm tired.... tired of sleeping! :-) Nice to see this from a different angle, like the faint color in the sky and the lighting is perfect!
