The image is wonderful for the contrasts, white dress over black door --
not much gray other than people skin tones. As for 19 -- hmmm, I recall a
thought I read somewhere about the interpretation of numbers: When you have a nine
you have a womb that is pregnant. And when you have a one standing by the nine...
a good thing certainly!

If both were 19, a distinct possibility, then the combined weight would be 38, placing them on the cusp of early middle age. As it now stands, they are leaving adolescence for good and on their way to the uncertainly of the twenties. His drooping shoulders suggest the worrisome weight he is carrying. She looks more upbeat, but not entirely joyful either. A doorknob behind on a closed door (no turning back) and a mailbox slit before them, will be of little use in their world of text messages and emails. (More than you may have bargained for, Paulo. Don't blame me.)
