When we travel, we try to eat where locals eat. That may not always be possible, mainly because of language barrier. Thus, restaurants near tourist sites with English signs became safe choices. For lunch, we prefer local pastry shops where we can just point at baguette sandwiches, croissants, pain au chocolat, or fruit tart.
