Stockholm....A walk through Sodermalm...

On Friday evening the 20th August 2010 I met my PBase friend Ruth...
We had a most enjoyable photo walk through Sodermalm which is in the Stockholm area...
Started off at Slussen where the bus and boat terminals are situated...
The walk took about two and a half hours and was very interesting
as we came across many old and colorful houses...
The walk ended where we began and we enjoyed a much needed plate of tacos before returning to our respective homes....
Thank you Ruth...we must do it again...soon!!!

Church through the trees...	Sparkling in the sunlight....	Entrance to a small in town park...
The Church...	A very small guest house in a garden....	some of the houses date back to the 1600's
like the clematis growing up the wall...	sitting in the sun....	children playing...
old house....	red house....	tower....
Medboroplatsen...	charming...	apartments...
framed with trees...	A Church...	Love the old world charm of the cobbled streets and colorful houses...
a quiet neighborhood...	this way to view the water....	the streets are empty...I think everyone is in town...
love this view...	train tracks...	there are houseboats along the quay...
the town hall....	looks very neat and tidy for a Friday evening....	there is an airport very near the city....
apartments...	almost sunset...	looking down...
you can go on a sightseeing boat trip...	a golden sunset....	the sky was beautiful...
the black cat sign advertising a jewelry designer.....	colorful apartments on a designer cobbled street....	back where we began three hours ago....

You seem to have had a very nice walk in my hometown and really picked the nice spots. Katarinavägen and Monteliusgången are some of my favorites. Not really sure about the Topaz-look though. Specially the cloudy sky looks very peculiar.
