Thanks for your nice comments. Well, I didn't use the sharpening tool in postprocessing at all. In camera settings were Natural with contrast -2, sharpening -1, saturation +1. 510 tends to over sharpen a bit indeed. This is a sign for me that maybe I should have used -2 for sharpening. Viorel

Yes the ambiguity of the scene adds to its character. You know, everything it's in the eye of the beholder. Sure, I thought sepia tone would be more appropriate to capture the essence of the scene. Thank you all, very much. Indeed, this can mean two different, contrasting scenes.

LOL, it does look like a long extended claw coming from the lake scratching at the shore line. Sepia tone adds a nice touch as well.

Looks like a claw, can't tell if its a monster coming ashore or trying not to fall in. Great find.

The roots look like a giant clawed hand grabbing at the youngster. This photo has a fairy tale begging to be told Nice one, Viorel.

Yes, it's like begging the other tree (that stands straight and that's younger) to help him out. Thank you Shirley for your nice comments. Viorel.

Oh dear! It's a wonder how it keeps from falling in the water! Wonderful find and a wonderful tree. I guess it felt like giving the fish all a bit of shade. :o)
