I like this one best. Very nice.

Thank you for all the kind words. I was pleased with how the texture of this came out - I am glad others agree. I was a sweaty, greasy mess when I took this, but I think it helps with the overall mood. As I mentioned below, I have added the original to the 'Originals' category. That photo is not the final product, but shows the full EXIF to validate it for the competition.

Yes really like this one. The catchlight in the eyes are just enough to draw attention.

Great low key portrait! Texture and tone are superb. Nice separation from the background also.

Agree with the previous comments, the catch-light from the eye in shade really makes this one stand out for me.

Nice one. We're missing the exif though, could you put it back ?

Nice look - pulls you right into the picture. The textures (wall, hat, hair, skin, eyes) really make the picture interesting and assume dimensions even though there is not a lot of light. I like 1/2 the face being in darkness and yet can see the eye looking out. Wish I did more portraits so I could give good comments/ feedback - seems good :-)

I'll add the original to 'Originals' since the EXIF went missing in GIMP. E-510, 50mm F2 with Vivitar 285HV fired off camera.
