Katherine the circles and lines work well the distortion adds to the effect.

The b&w for me as well. Nice perspective, enhanced by the curves. Well done.

After careful consideration, I think I like the B&W version better. The more I look at the roof, the more the distortions in the glass imake it look as though you are looking up through a liquid.

Boy howdy Katherine, I can't decide which I prefer either. There's something I like about the odd golden cast the glass on the walkway create in that color version. You and I have had to walk down these skywalks to many times. I think of you often.

The composition is really effective. My eyes trace the curves top to bottom. It reminds me of a conservatory roof in one of those very old buildings - like the Crystal Palace in London. But the setting beyond the glass says otherwise.

Love the play of shaow and distortions through the glass, I guess this is the roof of a small shopping arcade?
