Thank you all for your comments. It wasn't very difficult to take a picture without any people because there simply were not very much people. Abydos (Egypt) is at a distance of about 170 kilometers of Luxor. It is situated in an area that is not considered safe for tourists. So every day there leaves a protected convoy from Luxor to Abydos. On the day I went to Abydos there were only a small bus, a minivan and a couple of cars in the convoy.
In my opinion Abydos is the most beautiful temple in Egypt. OK, Karnak is more impressive but not as well preserved. And while I am typing this I am having a great idea. I also have some pictures of Karnak that are fitting for this theme. And without any people in them, but that was because I was there at 6.00 am

Superb, I love the mixture of different light sources. I was wondering what happened to the people too, did you get there real early before the tour buses?
