In the same Park, you can find the forms that inspired Gaudi's imagination.

Thanks for a so kind comment, Brenda!
I'm very glad if ever I've been able to help you in some way. I think that a good part of these challenges is that all together we have improved as photographers with the mutual teaching, encouraging and inspiration.

Fabulous interplay of form and light and shadow! I like studying your shots to figure out why they work so very well, and then trying my own versions which never rise to that level. It's amazing how many people here have mentored me, often without knowing. And you are definitely one of those people.

Thank you for your comments!
Gaudi was a genius that took inspiration from natural elements not only for aesthetical solutions (which was done fro all the Art Nouveau), but also for structural solutions, being a true pioneer in this area.

Oh, the inspiration for the bench? Yes I can see how he could get his wavey curvy bench from this bit of nature.

The mix of bright highlights and deep shadow really sets this undulating leaf in motion. Is that Gaudi's jester's hat in the background? :-) --Stefan
