Blossom end rot -ArtP
by ArtP

Frustrating when you see all the ripened tomatoes, then discover they have blossom end rot and it's too late to save them.

Two things lead to BER, irregular watering and low calcium. This year I caught a couple while still green, and cut off the rot (we will see how they fair as they ripen)

I had this happen one year, when I tried pot gardening. I guess I didn't have good enough drainage or something. Yes I was mad, every single tomato ended up rotten on the bottoms. Good shot for the theme Art.
