Deep Cove Island off the coast of southwestern Nova Scotia - one of the Tusket Islands group. Most of these islands are small and rocky if not downright bleak. Sheep are raised on them, safe from predators, and the lambs are taken to the nearby mainland by boat.
It is the same here in Croatia. Local people on the Adriatic coast own some islands named Kornati. The sheep live wild there but they have their owners.
Nice shot.
Like the Highlands of Scotland, I think there isn't much else to raise there either. Lots of heather on those hills! I love this shot, it is close enough to Scotland to make me want to be there! I just love those sheep. :o)
