2nd February 2007
middle of nowhere

Tamsin was off school today
she had to get braces fitted in town.
Afterwards we drove up the coast
and had a walk along the beach.
There was an icy wind blowing
so we didn't stay long.
On the drive back we got lost
we were so relaxed and chatting about everything.
I stopped to ask this tree for directions
and it soon put us on the right road.

Nikon D50
1/250s f/11.0 at 18.0mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nicely done, controlling the flare and using the sky colors.

It sounds like you spend really special time with your children. And this is a dramatic and beautiful shot.

Trees are old and wise. And they are not pre-programmed to direct you into a lake either!

LOL @ Zak! It does look like a friendly tree somehow... it's made a great silhouette anyhow!

It's there now, I was writing it up. Aiden was poking me with the Queen Mary.

I'm missing your pearl of wisdom for today, little bro. Did it go down with the Titanic?
