Dude, that sounds totally gnarly and one of my teachers at Strichen Primary School shared the same story with us. She is known as "The Green Lady" as she died in a green dress. When she got the telegram, she stabbed herself and fell out of one of the second floor windows that very night!! Like totally!

strichen house is haunted by the green lady she lives in the cellar you can climb down to!!!! and climb back up. You can hear her scream when you go past ive lived in strichen for years. Its creepy up there i wouldent to suggest to any kids............. the green lady killed herself when she got a telegraph saying her husband died fighting in ww2 or ww1 im not sure but it was there wedding day or something.........

as you stand at the stone circle its a amazing view well worth the walk up the hill and its about time the national heritige payed attention to it
