I was hoping for a glimpse of the sun for the end of the month,
And I got it.
But only because I was up at the crack of dawn,
Up in the Ivory Tower.
It appeared as a dull red ball just above the horizon,
then was swallowed up after a few seconds,
by the misty grey blanket of low cloud.
