2nd March 2005, turning chilly

It's funny how the snow has fallen in different places.
Here by the river there's hardly any,
up the road a little bit, there is a whole heap.
It is freezing outside just now,
the stars seem so crisp and clear,
and the ground is crunchy underfoot.
