10th December, the laziness...

The laziness,
A few days off and catching up on some rest.
I've been swimming and playing football as well as going to work.
I wasn't up till nearly ten thirty,
and there was a note from Mrs N telling me to wash the windows.
Instead, I lay on the settee,
basking in the sun and watching the shadows on the wall.
I'll wash them tomorrow. Promise!
Oh look, there's the lovely silk flowers she made.
And the picture we bought on honeymoon...

hmm I like the obscure subject here, the sharp light in the corner reminds me of horror films for some reason.

That's a beautiful composition and the lighting is just spot-on.

It's a rare thing but you've got it just right (the words), and the photo's great.

Ooooo dramatic. Great use of the light. The additional shadow bouquet
has such a twisted vibe, love that painting and how it seems to lead us
into yet another interesting world. WELL DONE!

What a family of talents - the Mother's a silk flower maker, the father a photographer, and the youngest son's already shown us his promise! Beautiful light Northy.

Oh, Oh, Oh, this is a rich and gorgeous photo. I love the lighting. Must have been the way the sun shone through the dirty windows!

The windows can wait, sometimes you've just got to do nothing!!

that's my motto to, don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow, not sure if it works but it certainly makes life interesting, especially for everybody I manage to wind up whilst carrying it out =o)

This is a really wonderful composition! I love how you've played with light and shadows, strong and soft at the same time giving these beautiful softness colors. Gets a vote.

Jolie image tout en douceur, très beau travail en bas avec ces ombres légères
La lumière des traitée avec parcimonie, le cadrage est recherché avec la partie la plus éclairée juste ou y faut.
Encore une "grosse" photo
