The 2000 Census for Dover, NJ shows that nearly 60% of the population is Hispanic, with Colombians comprising more than 11%. My guess is that those numbers have grown steadily since then. Hispanic businesses have sprung up left and right along the main street of town, and most of those businesses are eateries featuring ethnic foods from various countries in South America and Mexico. This gallery begins with photos from our annual Colombian festival, but I hope to add more photos featuring Hispanic businesses and people I have had the good fortune to meet and know.
