Tom's Diner

Tom's Diner is a classic diner made by Silk City Diners, a division of the Paterson Wagon Company located in Paterson. The company made about 1,500 diners and sold them nationwide from the 1926 through 1966. It was established by Everett Abbott Cooper. The original owners passed away and their son has been unable to reopen it despite offers of help with labor and materials. Sadly it has been left to deteriorate. Tom's Diner was one of the locations used in Cyndi Lauper's music video for “Time After Time”.
