What a treat and a trip down memory lane. I was looking for a photo of an afghan teapot - the colorful ceramic ones, as I wanted to do a painting of it - and I found your site.
So nice to see Nannie and Sultan and Haji [Mohammed] in their shops - as I remembered them, and some things I had forgotten too. What beautiful embroideries Haji had. And I enjoyed all of the photos of Kabul, including the goods at customs/ airport.
