I lived in Peshawar from 1982 to 1992 and have traveled extensively in the North West Frontier Province and Northern Areas of Pakistan (including traveling by horse in 1982 from Passu (Gojal, Hunza) to Gilgit, and in 1989 by horse from Peshawar to Chital, Kalash, Gilgit (via the Shandur Pass), Kaghan (via the Babu Sar Pass), Azad Kashmir, Islamabad, and back to Peshawar (crossing over thr Gungor Hills and Tarbella Dam). In the horsetrip gallery there is also a written account of this trip.
I was in Afghanistan from 1975 to 1979, and Kashmir, Ladakh, and northern India in 1980. I will share as much as I can here of all of this time in some incredible lands. God Willing!

These are not the most recent photos (most are scans of the original photos), and I am not really a photographer, but I have been in some incredible places with a camera. I consider this more of a photo documentary than a photography exibition (so please excuse the lack of info as to cameras I've used. It's been more of 'what's ever in my hand at the moment).

The Pakistan galleries and the Delhi and Arga galleries are dedicated to my mysterious brother/friend Mirza Lodi (who I lost somewhere between Peshawar City and Geneva). He took many of the photos of me and some of the others. I have tried to give him credit where I can remember which one of us snapped the shot.
