As I approach Hozomeen from the southwest, I'm aware that the wind is raging below.
Ground speed of the airplane exceeds 210 mph, and plumes of blowing snow extend from ridgetops all around.
Circling Hozomeen counter-clockwise, the plane is rocked by turbulence as I pass the north face.
Crossing the north ridge, I emerge into calmer air where I can now photograph the incredible Zorro Face.
