Weird name huh? The head looks like a seahorse, but the overall cane looks like a leprecaun would come skipping along swinging it. This was my first experience with English Hawthorn; I found it under a large spreading tree. It was amazing the way it worked up. It was a gift to my cousin who collects sticks and canes. It was dyed with some oxidizing chemicals and finished up and buffed with Danish Oil -many coats.
