I returned to Yellowstone in September 2006 with a photo tour led by Dave Wyman ( http://home.comcast.net/~wymanburke/firstpage.htm ). Dave has made many trips to Yellowstone and knows where to go, when to go there and what to see. I had been through Yellowstone in the early 1970's but had not spent much time there. This trip was eye opening. I will definitely go back to spend more time.
Fall was a great time to visit. The crowds are mostly gone. The weather was not too cold and there was still so much to see.
I have broken this gallery into three sub galleries: Yellowstone Scenes, Steam, Color and Explosions, and Wild Yellowstone.
