In Northeastern California there is an area called Tule Lake which is really two things. It is a large wildlife refuge and it is a town where there was a Japanese Relocation Center during WWII. It was where they shipped the internees who were considered to be the greatest risk. The region was a wonderful place to visit and explore. |
