Dear Caio,

4M pixel is already enough for you to print A4 photo in 200 dpi resolution. I usually set in fine so as to keep the finest details. AE means auto exposure and AF means auto focus.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures. How to configure the HS10 for the day to day. How many Mb set for photos to be printed in A4 ? ? Write to fine or normal? What set the key AE + AF? Thanks

Dear Richard,

For sure is that an entry-level DSLR would deliver better image quality than HS10 because of its larger sensor, especially in high ISO setting. HS10 is for those who doesn't want to carry heavy gear but would like to fully control the camera configurations for getting good pictures than other daily-carrying compact DCs.

BTW, HS20 is released. Let's see the quality difference and you may consider to upgrade to HS20 if it is really better.

Some wonderful images, taken with great skill. I've just bought an HS10 and am unsure whether to keep it or not.... There is something about the quality of the images that fails to satisfy. My wifes entry-level DSLR, an old Nikon D50 lacks most of the sophisticated features of the HS10 (which I love) - but it's images are hugely superior to those of the fuji.
