Kerala backwaters

Near Cochin I got on a houseboat to tour the Kerala backwaters overnight. These boats are now built for tourists, but are modeled on kettuvallam, boats used to transport rice. My boat had me and three men who didn't know a word of English. I couldn't even learn their names.

I have n ot used this site before, and am not sure whether this E-amil will get to Mary Ann. What I would like to say is that you have some fantastic shots of Kerala and take photo's very well. I myself visited Kerala back in the early part of last year and was so inspired by it that I went on to set up a Tour operation out there. The tour operation, whilst in its infancy, is proving to be popular with visitors. I am now looking for information to add to the web site and am starting to work on the different tourist arena for people and was wondering if you would mind me using your photo's.
