Imagine to drive South East for one hour, to reach the Alps, to go up to Great Saint Bernard Pass… If it’s summer, you can keep on until the top, passing by the well known Saint Bernard Hospice, yes, the one so famous for their big Saint Bernard dogs.But when the pass is closed because of snow, when you are nearly on the top, you can take the tunnel insteadWhen you are in the middle of the tunnel…you are in Italy.Then you drive down along the Italian side of the Alps, you take another motorway and one hour and half later you arrive to Torino ( Turin).
