I love this portrait... for a few raisons, but mostly, for what it says. It shows that even through hard times, poverty by some standards, this lady has dignity, pride. She controls her environment within her capabilities. Her sarie (clothes) is of high quality silk, the child behind her seems happy... and I'll let other viewers judge, appreciate and find their own beauty within this image. As usual Manny... it stays within your standards, no need to tell you for the upteen times that's it's a great photo.
