Lunchtime Still Life

Having had to resort to bad attempt at food porn for yesterday's PAD, I decided not to get caught out again today.
I love these 'Chinese Lanterns' and how you can see the filigree of their structure as the outer skin peels away.

You've caught the textures; the texture of the cloth compliments the texture of the main subject.

I love the Chinese Lanterns, and the ones that look like coins (don't know what they're called) Very nice still life you've got here. Rich autumn colors and a touch of sass. V

This is truly gorgeous, Mairead! Love the way the filigree of the seedpods matches that in the jewelry! Very lovely light, too. V

They are sublime. I never knew what they were called. Love the red tones and the pairing with the filigree jewelry. V.
