Drogheda Skyline

Work now takes me to our neighbouring town of Drogheda where I
have to cover court on Fridays.
I am still finding my way around town, getting lost on one-way systems and even in car parks!
Returning to my car today, I took the lift to the wrong floor and found myself looking out over the rooftops at the imposing Gothic facade St Peter's church.
It is home to the mummified head of St Oliver Plunkett who was martyred at Tyburn in 1681 and attracts many visitors.

Remember that remarkable church and the head very well from a visit a few years ago. Fine shot.

A very striking skyline with that church rising above everything else. A super composition, Margaret. V.

I think in this case becoming lost was a real blessing...not sure I'd want to look in on Sir Oliver though ;)
