Venturing Out

The good weather continues although it wasn't quite as warm and sunny today. It did, however, tempt this butterfly out.
They dry spell has also seen a spate of fires on the mountain, whether arson or gorse fires lit by farmers to clear their land, I don't know.
Last night I could see the mountainside blazing and today there
were a number of fires as well, keeping the local fire service busy.

Oh fab to see butterflies already. I have spotted the odd one at a distance, never close enough to photograph.

Good capture, considering how nervy butterflies are. I note that you're zoomed right the way in but it's still difficult to lay sensor on them for long enough to get a crisp shot.
