Once the Christmas tree has been taken down and the decorations packed away for another year, I like to buy some tulips as a reminder that spring isn't too far away.

Autumn for us, though Summer's been less hellish this year so I'm not anticipating it as eagerly as I normally do. I like the arrangement here; the impending bloom on the right thrusting forward, the bloom on the left and the two in the background seem to form a balance amongst themselves, both spatially and in terms of weight.
