Rhapsody in Blue

Saw the new water feature in the Market Square for the first time after dark as I went to the Post Office. The lights illuminating the water change
colour, alternating with blue, red, green and purple. And despite the fact that the temperature was just hovering above freezing, the two schoolboys couldn't resist dashing through the water.

Lovely colours Mairéad and not an easy shot to capture. Well done and festive greetings to you.

Don't know whether you were able to mount the camera on something to do this, but I really do like the sharpness of the warmly lit buildings in the background contrasting with the translucency of the cool water colour. I also like the way you've really filled the frame with the jets.

This must be such a welcome sight on a cold wintry eve. You have captured the colours and the water beautifully. V
