Sneak Preview

Dundalk

Back to work today and I got a sneak preview, as did everyone else in the town centre, of what the water feature in the Market Square is going to look like. A big celebration with a winter market, music and carol singing, street entertainment and food is planned for the reopening of the square after its multi-million Euro refurbishment. This was just a quick shot taken during a court recess, reckon I need to brush up my night photography skills pretty quickly - all tips welcome.

Looks like it has potential. As for the Winter night time tip: dress very warm :-)

Looks lovely, and the touches of red against the evening sky are great. V

You did such a nice job of showing foreground detail without overexposing the sky. A nice piece of work!

Antifreeze would be a good idea, or second best one of those 'danger, slippery floor' signs.
It is good that you've caught the blue light in the water and froze the movement in the fountains.

Hope they put plenty of antifreeze in the water
