I'm conscious that I have to make an effort to get out for a walk these evenings, preferably with camera, as soon it will be dark.
Headed down 'the pass' or laneway which runs alongside our neighbours' farm.
For most of the walk I had a pheasant leading the way. It walked briskly ahead of me, not allowing me get nearer than a 100 yards, although unfortunately I didn't have a long lens with me.
The harvest has been cut in the fields at the end of the lane and I came across a row of tractors and diggers parked somewhat spookily in the twilight.
