I love how the evening sun shines through the windows of our home.
This time of year it seems to have a special quality as it begins to
sink lower in the sky.
Our house is around 150 years old, built before architects and engineers would have been on hand to advise on location and aspect
. But like many old Irish farmhouses in these parts it faces south west and is s perfectly placed to catch the best of the sun.
