Springtime Blues

Although there are signs of Spring in the snowdrops blooming in
the garden, in the buds emerging on the trees and the longer
evenings, today was dull and dreary.
Called into the Flower Market in search of some Spring colour
on my way home from work today and found these smiling
primula.

I don't know about smiling; they're certainly bright and colourful but the folded back petals suggest more apprehension to me. "Don't put us outside! Winter hasn't gone yet! And that labrador looks hungry!"
