The only drawback about going on holiday is that we have to leave Toffee at home.
We didn't see many cats in Italy, just one having a siesta on a car bonnet and another
very pretty one, at a house near where we were staying in Siena. There were, however,
lots of pampered dogs, dogs who were carried around in baskets on their owners'
bicycles and dogs which got special bowls in restaurants.
This cat in a painting in the impressive Basilica di San Francesco in Sienna
reminded us of our puss at home.
Luckily a kind neighbour feed Toffee while we were away and a colleague from
work also dropped in to see if he was ok.
