Artemis

As part of the Carlingford Louth Maritime Festival, The Artemis visited
Warrenpoint and Newry.
Named after the goddes of the hunt, she was built in Norway in 1926 for
whaling, sailing in the North and South Polar Seas until the late 1940s, She was
then converted into a freighter and sailed between Asia and South America.
Now owned by the Tall Ship Company, she was restored as an elegant sailing
ship in 2001;
