The three mares in the field up the road from us have all had
foals. It's fun to watch these gangly long-legged youngsters.
The youngest ones still seem somewhat unsteady on their
feet and frequently lie down to have a little rest.
While we had bright sunshine today it was very cold for
the time of year with a strong breeze.
