iPurchased

Feeling rather uninspired today and it's nothing to do with my new toy.
Finally gave into temptation and bought myself and iPhone. It IS cool but
I'm not going to get carried away with being contactable and on-line 24/7.
There's lots of features I like such as the text messaging, the notepad (so
I don't have excuse for forgetting groceries when I'm shopping), and it's handy
being able to check the internet although unfortunately I don't think there's many
wi-fi hotspots in town. I am looking forward to having a bit of fun with the
apps, especially the free ones.
The first song which I synched over from my computer is an advanced
release from Josh Ritter's new album but that's one for buying on CD
rather than downloading. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I do like to get
an actual disc and cover with some artwork and info.

Super sign of the times! I don't have many electronics at home, yet I run networks and repair computers on my job. LOL... I guess I get too much technology at work!

A great little device, congrats!1 Remember that music downloaded from ITunes does not give the a full range of sound, not the same quality as a CD. I did not know this until recently, but Hey, I am a caveman.

I don't know how much longer I'll be able to hold out. Looks like it might be too useful to resist.

Fun, fun. We like our ipod touches, everything but the phone on it. :)

Ah, new toys are always fun - this is one I've managed to resist :o)

Not to mention being unable to play the songs on more than 3 devices, all of which must be Apples. (Although that maybe just our licence restrictions down here.) It's one of many reasons that I haven't bought into the iPod/ iPhone / iPad craze. (Actually I do have a small iPod. Never. Again.) But we're moving into the era of "permanent connection" and what better song title than the one you've chosen here?
