28-MAR-2010

It's officially Summer Time although it still feels as though winter is only slowly releasing its grip.
Everything is topsy turvey in our house today, we all slept late, even the cat who can normally
be relied on as a back-up alarm clock.
Meal times got hopelessly confused and our afternoon walk ended when the dinner should have been coming
out of the oven never mind having yet to go into it.
This looks as though the seasons are mixed up too, more akin to autumn than summer. There
was little sign of spring when we went for a walk in Rockmarshall Woods today apart from the
bleating of lambs in the fields below.

Beautiful shot of that web. I suspect things will change quickly and soon we'll be complaining about the heat!

Goodness, I guess it was the Time change weekend there?? Ours changed a couple weeks ago. I'm always out of sorts for a week afterward. This certainly does to like an autumn photo!

Beautiful close up and a superbly captured spider web with lovely coppery tones! ~V~

I haven't had the chance to look through my usual galleries for a few days, but you've really been hitting the macro work on all cylinders over that time. This one works very well in terms of colour, arrangement and depth. Especially depth, since it helps keep the browns primary with the greens in the background just providing a backdrop.

Really like the colors in the spider web. I probably would have missed the dried flowers because once I see a spider web that's all I see :-(

You're taking us back to autumn? :o)
