Anaverna

Went exploring up at Anaverna. Drove past dozens of houses
on the way to where the commonage begins and walked
out on the mountainside where it's easy to think that you
are miles from civilisation. Came across some paths
worth exploring another day when I have time and company.

It's a beautiful landscape and so refreshingly free of snow. Your viewpoint is so nicely chosen with the sheep in the foreground.

Looks so warm and springlike. We still have almost a meter of snow and -10 to -20C night time. But the days are much longer. Yey!

Sure, I'll go with you. Well, I would have done, had it not been for the 26 hour flight and all. A very restful bucolic scene. The image seems to have a touch of "coolness" to it; not sure whether that's the slightly bluish haze in the far background or just my imagination.
