When I started taking my PADing seriously, that is posting a freshly taken image every day, I thought Toffee would feature in it a lot more than he has.
Today he provided inspiration in more ways than one. Although we had snow overnight, a thaw rapidly set in and much of the countryside was taking on its familiar green appearance under a grey sky. I was contemplating going out to see if I could find something worth shooting but I didn't really fancy driving up mountainous roads which could possibly still be icy. Then I looked at Toffee settling down for a nap on my husband's t-shirt and I thought 'he's got the right idea'.
So, I had a lazy Sunday. Caught up with some housework, packed all the Christmas decorations in boxes for storage in the attic, and finished reading 'American Wife', an interesting if flawed novel based on the fictional recollections of the wife of a certain US president recently left office.
And when Toffee's not sleeping, he spends a lot of time looking out the window at the birds. I finally managed to get a few passable pics of the birds coming to the feeders yesterday. Cleaning the kitchen window helped, as did the light reflected by the snow.
