There was quite a thaw this afternoon with temperatures up to
a balmy 4 degrees. Even so I decided it was probably
wise to do 'a big shop' to make sure that the cupboards won't
be bare in the unlikely event of us being snowed in. By the
time I arrived home it was freezing again and it has since
snowed.
Had good fun this morning taking photos of some of the
visitors to our bird feeders - even cleaned the kitchen
window so that I could get clearer shots! Am quite
pleased with the results which I'll post shortly.
A song thrush has joined our regular visitors and is
particularly fond of chopped apple.
