Woke up this morning to a world covered in white. Yes, it had actually snowed.
Not a lot of snow by most standards but the most we've had in years, maybe
an inch of it! Was amused when I arrived into work to hear people talking about
how BAD the snow was. Resisted the temptation to laugh but gently reminded
them that it wasn't 'real' snow out there - 'real' snow is feet not centimetres
deep.
Was extremely frustrated all day because I was stuck behind a computer
when I wanted to be outside taking pics of the snow, which while not deep,
was pretty in the winter sunshine.
Just managed to take this pic in our field when I got home. Unfortunately
our neighbour has deprived me of photo opportunities by moving his sheep.
With no sign of temperatures rising, the snow will probably be with us
for days, by which time I will no doubt be glad to see the end of it.
