Red Car

Just nipped into the museum to take a quick photo of this most unusual car.
The Heinkel Bubble Car was built under licence by Dundalk Engineering Company
for a short period from 1958. To see one out on the road go to:

Cute motor :) But, err, can't quite see it... is that a "no photos" sign on the door in the background? ;-O

I can imagine this car would not do to well in a collision with a truck

What I wonder, happens if you stick a pin in it ? :>))

Great. That brings back memories. Remember those days, when we had cars with names like 'Goggomobil' or 'Kabinenroller' on the streets here in Germany.

I saw one of these at a vintage rally recently. The guy had just enough room for himself and his accordian! Cool shot.

How cool! It doesn't look too far off from some of the smart cars today! Nice find :)

It would be great if we had more of those on the roads.....1958 was too early for a car this small or this modern. I think it would do well on the market today!

My godmother had one of those when I was a child! It was weird the way the front door opened.
