Sparkle needed

I have had some weeks recently where my ability to take daily photographs has been hampered,
so I've been going back to my archives to edit and post some images that I neglected
in the regular hurly burly of life.
Now I'm getting an itchy shutterclicking finger,
but I need that extra bit of sparkle and imagination to make it work a little harder for me.

This is a freshly composed picture, which tells a little story with a pinch of clever humour. It’s simple, but accurate and we guess a voluntary choice of angles and details. Said that I wonder why you feel the need to pick up pictures from your archives only to have something for a daily post. It’s not a job you have to attend every day to get a regular salary and you have nothing to catch up with it. We see too many approximate quick snapshots only because good people, who can be good photographers too, feel the ridiculous obligation to upload a photo a day. It doesn’t improve quality and creativity in my humble opinion, it only transform a wonderful hobby in a routine or in a social convention. I’m laughing at myself because I’m a very prolific photographer and actually I have a series of photos ready to be posted... Anyway feel free to be very strict about the photos you decided to share, because you have a good eye and a lot of skills.
